Wheat (Triticum L)

is the most cultivated corn on earth (even more than rice) and for a big part of the world the basic food. It has much more requirements on land, climate and supply of water than most of the other corn.

You can cultivate summer corn, as well as winter and alternation corn.

Approximately 600 million tons were harvested in 2006/07.

 

Rape (Brassica napus ssp. oleifera)

is an econimical considerable useful plant. Beside mustard and cabbage rape is one of the most important plants of the brassicaceae family. The primary use of rape is to produce high-quality oils.

Over the last few years the use of rape to produce biodiesel has been greatly pushed.

 

 

 

Corn (Zea mays L. subsp. mays)

originally comes from Mexico, where it still is a basic food. By now there are over 50 000 different corn varities.

The biggest part of the corn produktion is used for animal food, as corn has less protein than other compareable cereals..
